Commissioning Management Limited (CxM) is a specialist commissioning management consultancy that is focused on delivering high-performing, energy-efficient and reliable buildings.

Established in 2022, CxM was founded on the belief that effective commissioning is essential for buildings to operate as intended – from handover and throughout their life cycle.

Led by industry veterans Mark Crawford and Martin Payne, whose combined experience spans almost 70 years, CxM brings extensive expertise to the building services sector. Both directors hold the highest grades of membership with the Commissioning Specialists Association (CSA), and CxM is proud to be a CSA Corporate Member.

CxM adopts a proactive commissioning philosophy, engaging from the design phase through to construction, integrated systems testing, client training, and post-occupancy optimisation. This end-to-end approach delivers thoroughly tested buildings that are ready to meet operational expectations.

The company has successfully delivered commissioning services across a wide range of technically demanding projects, including airports, hospitals and data centres, where reliability and system integration are critical.

Supporting the focus on sustainability, CxM provides Independent Commissioning Agent services for GreenStar projects, and supports frameworks such as LEED, CIBSE Soft Landings, and NABERS to help clients achieve their performance and environmental goals.
