Founded in 1976, Drainways Contracting is a third-generation drainage and civil company based in Hastings in Hawke’s Bay. 

Having built up a long and trustworthy reputation working with local councils, developers and private clients throughout Hawke’s Bay, Drainways has become a strong force in the region. 

Specialising in the three waters (stormwater, wastewater and drinking water), Drainways has a sizeable fleet and skilled staff base, and are able to tackle projects of any size and complexity.

Drainways has recently completed a new pump station at the Napier Regional Airport that sat three metres below groundwater level. 

The team battled rising tides and flooding to ensure the project was delivered to the highest standard, on time, and to the client’s specified requirements.
